My family travelled by ship from Cuxhaven, Germany to Halifax, Canada (and onward to Montreal) in the spring of 1959. I’m pretty sure it was the MV Italia from your site. Home Lines also rings a bell. Had been under the impression we were on the last voyage before she was scrapped. Guess not.
