I have found that the key to running a website is making sure the visitors you are getting are interested in your subject matter. There is a company that you can get traffic from and they let you try the service for free. I managed to get over 300 targeted visitors to day to my site. Visit them here: http://3dj.es/1fvww

March 24th 1917, during WWI) to Singapore. So, the Kamo Maru has sailed also to Europe! At least once!

My parents travelled aboard the Kamo Maru from Hong Kong to Sydney arriving 17th Dec 1938. I have a souvenir of the trip, an elaborate paperweight embossed underneath “Compliments of NYK Line”.

Cheers

My reason for the search for this boat and another from the same shipping
company was due to having been searching the Family Tree looking for my Dad’s
father I accidently came across him on a passanger list returning from India
to England in 1922, he was also booked onto another ship from the same stable
when he went to India. So thank you for giving me more insight to my grand-
fathers life. I am now trying to trace back to the time he was in his early
20’s, having a child and wife he changed his direction from being a bricklayer
to a DIVER, which is causing me some problems as I cannot find the name of the
shipping company that serviced Malta or names of ships that frequented that
shipping lane or perhaps he travelled on salvage ships.

I was wondering with your interest in all kinds of boats from all countries
perhaps you might have the answers to one or two of my questions.

Thank you once again for the information on this boad it will serve as part
of the family tree along with the photo and story of what happened to it.

best wishes for the future.
Fay
